Mighty Boosh star lands ITV show

Rich Fulcher The Mighty Boosh star Rich Fulcher has signed up to star in a new ITV comedy show which will be broadcast first on mobile phones before going online.

Ingrid Oliver, who recently appeared in the Channel 4 show Plus One, will also star in The Gym which will later be available on ITV.com.

ITV Mobile head Melissa Goodwin said the new show could "be viewed anywhere and anytime."

The 50-part series starts 21 January and will last for 10 weeks.

Once episodes have been broadcast to phones, fans can also catch the shows a week later on on the ITV website.

It is not the first time Fulcher has starred in a show which has made its debut via the internet.

In 2005 BBC Three announced it would show The Mighty Boosh online before it was broadcast on television.
