Wight festival tickets sell out
Next year's Isle of Wight festival has sold out, six months before the event takes place.
Some 50,000 tickets have been sold for the three-day show, which will be headlined by The Police, the Sex Pistols and Kaiser Chiefs.
Lily Allen, Kate Nash, Hoosiers, The Enemy, Ian Brown and The Kooks are also on the bill between 13 and 15 June.
Tickets went on sale on Monday. "All we need now is glorious sunshine again," promoter John Giddings said.
The 2008 event will be the seventh since the Isle of Wight festival relaunched in 2002.
