Actress and model Kelly Brook has vowed to continue competing in the BBC One show Strictly Come Dancing, despite her father passing away on Monday.
The 28-year-old has continued to rehearse for Saturday's live show, after her father, Kenneth, 57, died following a long battle with cancer.
A spokesman for the star said she would continue with her work commitments just as her "father would have wanted".
Brook and her dance partner Brendan Cole are amongst the favourites to win.
"Kelly would like to take this opportunity to thank the media for respecting her family's privacy over this personal matter during recent weeks and asks that they continue to do so at this difficult time," her spokesman added.
The former Big Breakfast presenter is engaged to Titanic actor Billy Zane.
Saturday's show is the first time the couples will be performing two dances.
In last week's show Brook and Cole's performance was criticised by the judges, who said they had not performed to their usual high standard.
Cole reacted angrily to the judges comments, claiming he and Brook only had eight hours to rehearse the routines.
The couple ended up in the bottom two after the viewers' vote - but they were saved from being ejected after judges chose former England footballer John Barnes to leave instead.
