Injured Clooney attends premiere

George Clooney and Sarah Larson Hollywood actor George Clooney has attended the premiere of his latest film, Michael Clayton, days after he was involved in a motorcycle accident.

The 46-year-old collided with a car on a narrow road in New Jersey heading from New York city last weekend.

Speaking to The Associated Press on the red carpet he said: "I got a cracked rib, so I'm not jogging right now."

His girlfriend Sarah Larson, who broke her foot in the crash, joined him on crutches for the premiere.

The actor has been working on a movie, Burn After Reading, in the New York area with his Ocean's 11 co-star Brad Pitt.

Asked whether he and Pitt intentionally co-ordinate film projects Clooney joked: "We do. We call each other - we actually ask what we're wearing. He's wearing an all-white suit tonight."

Pitt, who was actually wearing a black suit and shirt, bypassed the media on the red carpet.

Clooney, who rose to fame in the long-running TV drama ER, won the best supporting actor Oscar in 2006 for Syriana.

In Michael Clayton, he plays a "fixer" for a New York law firm, who faces a moral dilemma when he is asked to clean up some corporate dirty dealings.
