BSkyB is to launch a new TV channel aimed at older women, focusing on human interest and reality TV shows.
The revamp is the last part of the re-focusing of Sky's portfolio of entertainment channels.
It will replace the current Sky Travel channel when the changes come into effect on 7 November.
Sky's Barbara Gibbon said: "There is a huge appetite for real life stories that engage the full range of emotions for our viewers."
'Significant value'
BSkyB entertainment boss Sophie Turner Laing said: "This initiative is driven by customer demand and fits our ambition to offer the best content in every genre, whether entertainment, film, arts, news and now human interest.
"I am confident that Sky Real Lives will add significant value to the Sky platform."
The new channel's target audience is women aged 35 to 54.
Shows will include Vain Men, a documentary about young males trying to achieve the body beautiful, and Baby Race, tracking single women in their mid to late 30s as they try to conceive.
The Sky Travel brand will move to the channel currently known as Sky Travel Shop.
