US actress Brigitte Nielsen has checked herself into a rehabilitation clinic, her manager has confirmed.
Steven Tempone told the Associated Press agency she admitted herself by her own "free will".
He declined to say what she was being treated for but said: "We're proud of her and wish her very well."
The former wife of Sylvester Stallone turned 44 on Sunday. "When she gets out we'll have a big birthday party, and Coca-Cola only," Tempone added.
Her film career also includes appearances in Red Sonja, Rocky IV and Beverly Hills Cop II.
In the UK, she also appeared on the third series of Channel 4's reality TV show Celebrity Big Brother.
