R&B star Rihanna has topped the UK charts for a ninth week with her single Umbrella, matching a record for the longest run at number one this decade.
The Barbados singer held off Black Eyed Peas singer Fergie, whose Big Girls Don't Cry went up six to number two.
Rihanna has equalled the run of Gnarls Barkley with the song Crazy last year.
The all-time record for consecutive weeks at the top of the singles chart is held by Bryan Adams with Everything I Do, which achieved 16 weeks in 1991.
Umbrella, which features vocals from influential rapper Jay-Z, is also top of the Billboard charts in the US.
In the album chart, Coventry rockers The Enemy enter at number one with We'll Live And Die In These Towns.
Just behind them are US band Interpol, who hit the UK top ten for the first time with Our Love To Admire.

The band, who have been compared to British indie icons Joy Division, recently signed a deal with Coldplay's management company.
Our Love To Admire is their first album for a major label.
Elsewhere in the album chart, the newly-reformed Smashing Pumpkins debut at number four with Zeitgeist, their first album in seven years.
Other new entries come from Cherry Ghost, Il Divo and Barbara Streisand - whose UK tour kicked off in Manchester last week.
TOP FIVE UK ALBUMS
In the singles chart, Foo Fighters, who featured in last weekend's Live Earth concert, have re-entered the top 40 with their 2005 single Best Of You, which leaps from 173 to 38.
Arctic Monkeys are the biggest climbers in the singles chart with Fluorescent Adolescent rising 18 places to number five.
New entries also come from Kings Of Leon, Groove Armada featuring Mutya, Mika and Bloc Party.
