Oscar-winning actor and director Kevin Costner has become a father for the fifth time.
The child, the first with his wife of two years Christine Baumgartner, is a baby boy named Cayden Wyatt Costner.
Costner has three children from an earlier marriage and a fourth from another relationship.
The movie star married Baumgartner, a German handbag designer, at his Aspen ranch in Colorado in September 2004 surrounded by celebrity friends.
Among those on the guest list were Oprah Winfrey, Bruce Willis and director Oliver Stone.
Costner won two Oscars for his 1990 western epic Dances With Wolves, and also starred in Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves and The Bodyguard.
His latest film, Mr Brooks, sees him playing a serial killer and will be released this summer.
