Action star tours with Blues band

Steven Seagal Hollywood action man Steven Seagal has begun a UK tour with his Blues band Thunderbox, playing a gig in Glasgow.

The star of films such as Under Siege and The Patriot has played the guitar since he was 12 years old.

Concerts on the 37-date, two-month tour will featured self penned tunes which Seagal describes as "pure Delta Blues".

He told local media that he intended to continue acting and had been getting into local culture after being offered a bottle of whisky.

Ponytail-wearing Seagal, 55, will tour around the UK and parts of the continent before returning to Scotland.

He told Scotland Today: "By then we will have seen a lot of Scotland and a lot of pretty girls."

Asked for his opinion on Hollywood bound football star David Beckham and wife Victoria - he asked "Who are they?"

As well as his acting credits and martial arts skills, Seagal is a high-profile environmental campaigner and Buddhist.
