Pop star Robbie Williams has called off the Asian leg of his world tour, citing stress and exhaustion.
The former Take That singer was to have visited Shanghai, Hong Kong, Bangkok, Singapore, Mumbai (Bombay) and Bangalore between 4 and 26 November.
Tickets had gone on sale for the Hong Kong, Bangkok and Singapore dates.
A spokesman said that to perform in China, India and south east Asia after honouring European and South American commitments "would be asking too much".
Williams performs the second of five dates at the Milton Keynes Bowl on Friday, the last concerts in the UK leg of the tour.
'New territories'
The concerts were originally scheduled to take place in the new Wembley Stadium but were relocated due to delays in its rebuilding.
He will then play five dates in South America in October before ending his tour in Australia in December.
The singer's spokesman said that Williams had been touring since May and was already "extremely tired".
To perform in the "entirely new territories" of India and China, he said, "would have greatly added to his workload".
