Farrell confronted by TV intruder

Colin Farrell Miami Vice star Colin Farrell was confronted by an intruder during a recording of The Tonight Show with Jay Leno on Thursday, police said.

A woman leapt up from the audience and was initially thought to be part of a stunt, said Sergeant Neil Gunn of the Burbank Police Department, California.

She was led away and police advised her not to come back or she would be arrested for trespassing, he said.

Farrell attended the premiere of Miami Vice in Los Angeles later that day.

Different accents

British actress Naomie Harris, who plays a New York-born analyst in the film, spent four months juggling the filming of Miami Vice and Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest.

She said she managed to avoid mixing up the characters.

"It wasn't confusing at all, because they are so completely different," Harris told the AP agency.

"The challenge was keeping the different accents in my head, Jamaican and the Bronx, and getting my Britishness out of both of them.

"But I never did wander onto the Pirates set speaking in a Bronx accent."

'Amazingly sexy'

American rapper TI paid tribute to the enduring appeal of Miami Vice.

"You could not grow up in the '80s and not be a fan," he told Reuters.

And singer Kelly Rowland, formerly in Destiny's Child, said she was looking forward to watching the movie.

"First of all, I am a fan of Jamie Foxx, and I love Colin Farrell. Who doesn't love Colin Farrell?

"I want to see this duo on screen. I know it is going to be amazingly sexy and hot. I can't wait to see it," she said.
