Rolling Stones guitarist Keith Richards has returned to his home in the United States after receiving brain surgery in a hospital in New Zealand.
He is thought to have fallen out of a tree while on holiday in Fiji.
He was then flown to Auckland and has spent the past 10 days recovering from an operation to relieve pressure caused by a head injury.
The 62-year-old's spokesman said Richards was "feeling great" and looked forward to playing with his band again.
Their European tour was due to start this Saturday in Barcelona but has now been delayed.
The star has flown from New Zealand, having been treated in Auckland's Ascot Hospital, to his home in Connecticut.
His wife Patti Hansen accompanied him on the journey.
Richards was hoping to be "getting back on the road with the Rolling Stones next month", his spokesman added.
A revised concert schedule is expected to be published shortly.
