What Not to Wear gets new hosts

Lisa Butcher and Mica Paris Soul singer Mica Paris and model Lisa Butcher are to replace Trinny Woodall and Susannah Constantine as presenters of fashion show What Not to Wear.

The duo, who are friends off-screen, will take over hosting the BBC One series later this year.

A BBC spokeswoman said they would bring a "fresh and vibrant feel" to the show, which sees people given blunt advice on how to dress.

Trinny and Susannah have defected to ITV to work on a new fashion series.

Butcher, a model since the age of 15, said: "I have always been passionate about clothes and having worked as a model all my life, I've learnt so much.

"What Not to Wear gives me the chance to pass on that knowledge to others."

Previous experience

Butcher has also presented Britain's Next Top Model for Living TV.

Paris, whose hits included 1988's My One Temptation, has presented shows on gospel and soul for BBC Radio 2.

She said: "Because of my career I had to learn about style and image early.

"What interests me is exploring the way people feel about themselves underneath, and that's what What Not to Wear is all about for me."

Trinny and Susannah began working together at ITV 10 years ago, before joining the BBC to front What Not to Wear, which they presented for five series.
