Desperate Housewives actress Nicollette Sheridan and US singer Michael Bolton are engaged.
A spokeswoman for the British actress - Edie Britt in the hit TV series - has confirmed the plans.
The 42-year-old actress, who was born in Worthing, West Sussex, wed LA Law actor Harry Hamlin in 1991 but the marriage ended the following year.
Bolton, 52, has three children through his marriage to Maureen McGuire.The couple were married from 1975 to 1990.
'Good feeling'
Sheridan and Bolton, who dated in the 1990s, got back together again last year.
Earlier this month, Sheridan was spotted with a new ring on her left hand outside an Oscar night party.
Reporters asked if she had an "announcement" to make but the former star of TV's Knots Landing would only say: "No. Do you?"
Quizzed about engagement reports in January, Grammy award winner Bolton told a US newspaper: "Nicollette and I are very serious about each other.
"It is a very special time in my life. I have a good feeling about the future."
