Ricky Gervais' hit comedy The Office has been remade for French television.
Le Bureau - as it is called in France - will be the first time the Golden Globe-winning comedy has been produced in a foreign language.
Office manager David Brent is now Gilles Triquet - played by Francois Berleand - and it is set in Villepinte, a business park north of Paris.
The original script, written by Gervais and his comedy partner Stephen Merchant, has been adapted into French.
Comedy export
Filming with the French cast - most of whom are unknown actors - has just been completed and the show will hit the Canal + network in the Spring.
If the adaptation is successful, the series could spark more global incarnations of David Brent.
The original stories have been sold in 80 countries worldwide, making it the most successful BBC comedy export of all time.
The Office was first broadcast in the UK in July 2001 and ran for two series.
The series finale, broadcast in December 2003, was watched by 6.14 million viewers.
The US version of the comedy, starring Steve Carell in Gervais' manager role, is to return for a third US series after attracting an average of 10 million viewers.
