Actresses Uma Thurman and Daryl Hannah were greeted by hundreds of fans at the British premiere of Kill Bill: Volume Two on Tuesday.
The pair signed autographs before a screening of the action sequel in London's Leicester Square.
"It is a dream come true," Thurman said. "We have worked so hard on this all year - it is wonderful."
The movie topped the North American box office, taking an estimated $25.6m (£14.2m), in its opening weekend.
'Exuberant'
Kill Bill: Volume Two received positive US reviews, with Rolling Stone magazine calling it "a blast of pure movie oxygen" while the Chicago Sun-Times said it was "an exuberant celebration of movie-making".
Stars Michael Madsen, who portrays a killer-turned-bouncer, and David Carradine, who plays crime kingpin Bill, also attended the British premiere.
Before the screening they rejected criticisms of the violence in Kill Bill and other films by director Quentin Tarantino.
"Violence existed long before movies were made," said Madsen.
