Actors Amitabh Bachchan and Shah Rukh Khan have come joint top of a list of Bollywood's most powerful figures.
The results come from a poll of the Indian film industry, commissioned by a film magazine and market analysts.
The list includes film-makers, a soundtrack composer and a financier as well as six top box-office stars.
Bachchan, 61, has starred in a string of hit films from the 1970s to the present day while Khan heads a new generation of screen idols.
Khan was the star of Bollywood epic Devdas, the most expensive film ever made in India when it was released in late 2002.
Actor-producer Aamir Khan was at number two in the list.
Bollywood 'heads for profit'
Producer-director-distributor Yash Chopra was third, director Sanjay Leela Bhansali was fourth and director Karan Johar shared fifth place with his father Yash Johar.
Music maestro AR Rahman is at number six followed by actress Aishwarya Rai at number seven.
Producer-financier-exhibitor Manmohan Shetty gets the number eight slot, while actors Hrithik Roshan and Ajay Devgan are ninth and tenth.
India's Bollywood industry is expected to go into profit by 2004, according to a report by management consultants KPMG International.
The growth will be down to larger companies becoming more dominant and fewer films being produced, the report said.
Aamir Khan recently said Indian films now had to be made with an "international audience in mind".
"We are already seeing it happening in crossover cinema," said Khan, who was behind the international hit film Lagaan.
Lagaan was nominated for best foreign film at 2001's Oscars, gaining a major surge in interest both for the movie and for Bollywood in general.
