Brosnan, speaking ahead of the gala screening at the Royal Albert Hall on Monday, said he had accepted an invitation from the producers to make another Bond movie.
"I was asked to come back for a fifth before we started Die Another Day. The answer is yes."
The latest Bond, Die Another Day, marks the 20th outing for the secret agent and the 40th anniversary of the lucrative franchise.
"It's such a daunting part to take on and it takes time to become Bond but I think I found the comfort zone in the latest one," said Brosnan.
'Flattered'
Halle Berry co-stars in the film, playing US agent Jinx, and has impressed the producers enough for them to consider a Bond spin-off.
"It's been mentioned. I'm really flattered at the thought of it.
"I don't know if it is real or not real - it certainly has not come to me in a legitimate way yet."
The world première of Die Another Day takes place at the Royal Albert Hall in the presence of the Queen and Duke of Edinburgh on Monday.
The film, which cost $142m, is released on 20 November.
