Two seats on the first commercial flight of the Airbus A380 - the world's largest passenger plane - have been sold for $100,380 (£49,755).
The premium seats were auctioned on eBay by Singapore Airlines (SIA), which is operating the superjumbo flight.
A regular one-way first class seat would normally cost $3,391.
SIA is auctioning most of the seats on the 25 October flight from Singapore to Sydney, with the proceeds being split between a number of charities.
A Singapore organisation, two children's hospitals in Sydney and international relief agency Medecins Sans Frontieres will be the beneficiaries.
'Selling well'
Starting prices for tickets in the auction range from $3.80 in economy to $380 for a luxury package.
Any bid of more than $1,000, or for any of the "premium packages" on offer is being vetted beforehand by the airline to ensure prices are not artificially inflated.
"At the top end, among premium cabins, the seats are selling very well, and the nature of the auction system means you see some very exciting outcomes based on the last few minutes of a five-day auction," said airline spokesman Stephen Forshaw.
SIA has committed to buy 19 of the Airbus superjumbos, despite their delivery being put back by almost two years as a result of wiring faults.
The problems are expected to cost Airbus 4.8bn euros ($6.1bn; £3.2bn) in total and have contributed to a recent profit slump at parent-company EADS.
