Indonesian elections: Your views

Indonesian president Susilo

People in Indonesia will be voting on 8 July to elect a new president.

Opinion polls indicate the incumbent, President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono, is ahead of former leader Megawati and Vice President Jusuf Kalla.

Mr Yudhoyono says he wants a second term to fulfil his promises to clean up corruption and secure economic growth amid the world recession.
