An army spokesman said he expected the recruitment campaign to go well and stressed that several people had already applied, although he would not say how many.
The advert has stated that the interim government would help rid Fiji of corruption and bad practices.
The military has accused ousted Prime Minister Laisenia Qarase of running a sleazy and racist administration.
Mr Qarase has insisted that the chief of the armed forces, Cmdr Frank Bainimarama was a dictator who "raped" the constitution.
A caretaker prime minister has already been appointed by the army. The deadline for applications for other ministerial positions closes on Tuesday.
