US Voters' Views 2008: New Hampshire

In the run-up to the US presidential elections we are asking a panel of BBC News website users to share their opinions and views.

The state of New Hampshire prides itself on always being the first to the vote in the US primaries. The state's choice is an indicator of the country's mood and voting intentions. As New Hampshire prepared to vote, we asked six residents to tell us who they are supporting and why.

Lance Klass Lance Klass
Concord
"Most New Hampshire residents tend to be pragmatic"
Tristen Hall Tristen Hall
Hudson
"Clinton can return the US to a place of honour among nations"

Stephen Parker Stephen Parker
Keene
"Huckabee has a sense of what it means to be a human being"

Joyce Brothers Joyce Brothers
Tamworth
"Romney would take a firm stand against illegal immigration"
Charles Grant Charles Grant
Hanover
"I think Obama still needs every vote he can get"

Jerry Amos Jerry Amos
Hollis

We also want to hear what you think, so send us your comments using the form after each person's views.

The readers' panel has been selected from as wide a cross-section of people as possible and may not be representative of wider US public opinion.
