Twelfth body found at US bridge

Collapsed bridge - 03/08/2007 US divers have recovered another body from the wreckage of the collapsed bridge in Minneapolis, bringing the number of people confirmed dead to 12.

The man was identified as Scott Sathers, 29, a university worker.

The search is continuing for the last person on the list of missing after the eight-lane span bridge fell into the Mississippi river on 1 August.

The collapse of the I-35W bridge has brought calls for a major overhaul of ageing US transport infrastructure.

The Minnesota Department of Transportation has said the investigation into what caused the disaster could take 18 months to complete.

A vehicle was also pulled out of the Mississippi river on Sunday.
