Eleven human skulls have been found dumped in Haiti's capital - two days after 17 were discovered in a separate rubbish tip.
Local residents found the 11 skulls in the Canape-vert neighbourhood in the east of the capital, Port-au-Prince.
Local police and UN officials are analysing the skulls but have not indicated if there is a murder inquiry or if the case is linked to voodoo.
UN peacekeepers told AFP the skulls had not suffered gunshot wounds.
Religion
The first find, on Saturday, was in a rubbish-strewn area of woodland in the Petionville suburb.
Those skulls had been placed in plastic containers and left close to a restaurant, police said.
Witnesses said at least some of the skulls were thrown from a moving car in Petionville on Saturday morning.
Haiti has been hit by a wave of violence and kidnappings since the rebellion that toppled former President Jean-Bertrand Aristide in 2004.
But local people said the remains in latest find could be linked to voodoo ceremonies.
Voodoo has been practised for 300 years in Haiti and is deeply rooted among the 8m population.
President Aristide made voodoo an official religion in 2003.
