A WWII airman whose body was found 63 years after his plane crashed has been buried in the US state of Minnesota.
Leo Mustonen's frozen body was discovered last October by climbers in California's Sierra Nevada mountains.
The 22-year-old was training to fight in the war when his plane crashed. Three others disappeared with him.
The New York Times reports that when his body was found, his nameplate was corroded but he had a fountain pen and a coin in his pocket dated 1942.
The body was recently identified through DNA tests.
Mustonen, the son of Finnish immigrants, was buried next to his parents at a private ceremony in his hometown of Brainerd.
