Some of the biggest names in American entertainment have taken part in a two-hour televised concert to raise money for victims of the US terror attacks.

Thousands of TV and radio stations around the world broadcast the star-studded telethon, America: A Tribute to Heroes, which took place simultaneously in New York and Los Angeles.
