In Pictures: Toledo celebrates Inca roots


Peru's first president with native Indian ancestry, Alejandro Toledo, travelled to the ancient Inca fortress of Machu Picchu for a special celebration to mark his inauguration.

The ceremony was performed by local priests who burnt offerings of flowers and coca leaves.
