Kenya: Bernard, a survivor's story

Bernard Orinda Ndege is one of the 600,000 Kenyans who fled their homes during political
clashes earlier this year.

His family was targeted by a mob from President Mwai Kibaki's Kikuyu community, who accused
him of being an opposition supporter because he is an ethnic Luo. He managed to escape
with his life but his two wives and nine children were all killed.
