Eighteen people have been killed in a road accident in Zambia.
State radio said the people died on the spot when a bus they were travelling on rammed into a parked truck.
Twenty-three others were seriously injured in the accident which occurred in the town of Luanshiba -- about three-hundred kilometers north of the capital Lusaka.
Most of the victims were school children on a holiday trip to the capital.
