A big explosion has destroyed an army ammunition depot in Sudan, just to the south of the capital, Khartoum.
The blast occurred in the middle of the night.
Firefighters put out the blaze which followed, but everything in the depot was destroyed.
A military spokesman said there were no casualties from the blast, which appeared to have been caused by technical reasons.
An investigation is under way.
There was a bomb attack on an oil depot to the south of Khartoum at the beginning of the month, which the authorities blamed on opposition elements.
