Interest strong in island lease
Guernsey's head of tourism says interest has been strong to take over the running of Herm island.
Current owners Penny and Adrian Heyworth are selling the remaining 40 years of their lease on the island.
Chris Elliott, Guernsey's director of marketing and tourism said there had been a lot of interest from people based in Guernsey, Jersey and the UK.
The States of Guernsey owns the island which is about 1.5 miles long and less than half a mile wide.
