The funeral has taken place of a 72-year-old farmer mauled to death by a bull at his County Antrim farm at the weekend.

Hugh Hamill was found dead on his land at Stoneyford near Carnlough on Saturday.

A post mortem examination revealed no suspicious circumstances, according to the police.

Mr Hamill, a father-of-four, was buried following Requiem Mass at St John the Evangelist Church in Carnlough.

Local politicians described his death as "an absolute tragedy".
