Man released over doorman murder

A 27-year-old man questioned in connection with the murder of Londonderry doorman Brian McGlynn has been released without charge.

Mr McGlynn, 28, was shot dead at his home in the Fountain Hill area of the Waterside on Sunday, 3 June 2007.

He was originally from Strabane, but had been working as a doorman at a nightclub and a pub in the city.

The man was arrested in Derry on Tuesday morning and released on Wednesday.
