Two hurt as light plane crashes
Air accident investigators are looking into why a light aircraft crashed in a field in Kent.
A man and a woman had to be cut free from the wreckage of the single-engine plane, which crashed in Hastingleigh, near Ashford on Monday afternoon.
A spokesman for Kent Police said their injuries were "non life-threatening".
The plane was on its way from Southend Airport, Essex to Shoreham in West Sussex. The Air Accidents Investigation Branch has been informed.
The woman on board was airlifted to a London hospital by RAF helicopter, while the man was taken to the William Harvey Hospital in Ashford by ambulance.
