Man dies in hotel swimming pool

A man who died after getting into difficulties in a hotel swimming pool is thought by police to be an Indian national who worked in London.

Officers were called to the Rainbow International Hotel in Torquay, Devon, by the ambulance service who were called at about 1945 BST on Saturday.

The man was taken to Torbay Hospital where he was pronounced dead. The death is not thought to be suspicious.

The man who died is believed by police to have been on holiday at the hotel.
