Prosecutors in Japan, for the second time in six weeks, have raided the offices of Daiwa, one of the country's biggest securities brokers.
The searches came one day after four Daiwa officials were arrested on charges of bribing racketeers.
The Japanese finance ministry said that following the arrests it had suspended Daiwa Securities from underwriting government bonds.
Three other Japanese brokerage houses are under investigation for alleged illegal pay-offs.
