Celebrated her 27th birthday by beating Wimbledon champion Lindsay Davenport in the first round of this year's French Open. But was unable to sustain a prolonged challenge for the Roland Garros title.

At Wimbledon she has reached the last 16 for the last two years, and given her seeding is likely to face either top seed Hingis or Davenport at the same stage this year.

So she is likely to have plenty of time for her hobbies of golf and cooking in the second week of this year's championship.
