Is enjoying her best results in the latter years of her career, though she has never been particularly successful at Grand Slam level, with just two quarter-finals appearances in Australia and Paris to show for 13 years on the tour.

Married to Arnaud Decugis, who has been her coach since 1989.

By winning at Birmingham last year she demonstrated that she can be a success on grass but has yet to convert that potential at Wimbledon.
