Lee's Wimbledon dream ends
Y El Aynaoui (Mor) bt M Lee (GB) 6-7 (7-9) 6-2 6-2 6-2
Briton Martin Lee's Wimbledon dream ended in the second round on Wednesday.
He was beaten 6-7 6-2 6-2 6-2 by world number 16, Moroccan Younes El Aynaoui.
Lee played a brilliant first set, defying his 259 world ranking, as he won it on a tie-break.
But El Aynaoui stormed back to easily overcome Lee to win in four sets.
Lee began the match brightly but his timing began to go and his head went down.
After his storming first set, Lee had his first game of the second set broken to 15.
It changed the course of the match as El Aynaoui finally found his rhythm and by the end had totally outclassed Lee.
