Tony Blair has told the BBC's Tim Franks of progress in the West Bank town of Jenin, which saw some of the worst violence during the Palestinian uprising which began in 2000.
A group of aid agencies recently said the Quartet of international powers that Mr Blair represents had "lost its grip" on the peace process.
Mr Blair said that despite the gains in Jenin, overall a "huge amount" still needed to be done in a situation that could be "very frustrating".
