Tributes to Cardigan road death teenager

Shane Morgan
A memorial service for Shane Morgan will be held on Tuesday 20 April.

Tributes have been paid to a teenager who died in a crash.

Shane Morgan, aged 18, from Cardigan, died in the collision on the A484 between Newcastle Emlyn and Cenarth at 0100 BST on Sunday.

Police say investigations are on-going but a 17-year-old also from the Cardigan area was arrested in connection with the incident.

Mr Morgan's family said he was a happy go lucky teenager who was always smiling and would be missed by many.

They have invited his friends to a memorial service at the Chapel of Rest in Netpool on 20 April at 1200 BST and Narberth Crematorium an hour later.

His parents Lindsey and John, brother Mark and sister Theresa issued a statement via Dyfed-Powys Police.

"Our happy go lucky son, brother and friend will be sadly missed by everyone," they said.

"He lived life to the full, was always smiling. His departure will leave a hole that will never be filled."

Anyone with information about the crash is asked to contact Dyfed-Powys Police on the non-emergency number 101.
