Gas leak business park evacuated

Staff at two businesses on a Swansea industrial estate have been evacuated following a gas leak.

Engineers are working to repair the problem at Bryntywod in Llangyfelach but Wales and West Utilities said domestic supplies were unaffected.

South Wales Police said workers at Griffiths Pallets and Afon Tinplate had left the scene as a precaution.

A nearby freight train line has been shut but police said the road network was operating as normal.
