Paul Grabham is charged with murdering his wife at their home

The defence team of a man accused of murdering his 24-year-old wife has been given more time to gather evidence on the case.

Paul Grabham, 25, was charged with the murder of aspiring model Kirsty after her body was found in woodland near the M4 in Laleston, Bridgend in April.

Mr Grabham entered no plea at the hearing in Swansea Crown Court and was remanded in custody.

A new case management hearing has been fixed for 4 September.

Mr Grabham's defence team said they needed more time to gather evidence including CCTV footage, mobile phone data and forensic examinations of the house Mr and Mrs Grabham shared in Swansea.

Mrs Grabham disappeared on 28 March after a night out with friends in Swansea city centre.

The last known sighting was of her taking a taxi at 0400 BST.
