Hospital radio DJ died in crash

Tributes have been paid to a former hospital radio DJ who was killed in a car crash.

Clifford Lee, 44, from Glyncorrwg, Neath Port Talbot, died when his car went down an embankment on the road to Cymmer on Saturday afternoon.

The night before Mr Lee, who used to help at Neath General Hospital radio, had been the DJ at a children's disco.

His family said: "Clifford was much-loved and will be sorely missed by everyone who knew him."

They added: "He will always be in our hearts and thoughts forever".

Mr Lee was called "a loving son, brother, partner and father."

Mr Lee was driving a blue Kia when it left the road at Heol Y Glyn between Cymmer and Glyncorrwg at 15.20 on Saturday.

The car crashed down an embankment into trees.

Officers are appealing for anyone who was in the area at the time and may have witnessed the collision to contact the roads policing unit at Cockett police station on 01792 456999.
