An investigation is underway after a fatality on the railway line near Neath station in the early hours.
The person was struck by a train at around 0410 BST in the Commercial Bridge Road area of the town and was declared dead at the scene.
British Transport Police (BTP) say they do not consider the incident involving the 0359 First Great Western between Swansea and London to be suspicious.
Arriva Trains said they did not expect further delays on the service.
London bound train services between Swansea and Port Talbot Parkway had been disrupted because of the death.
First Great Western said it had to cancel three trains from Swansea - the 0359 BST, 0458 BST and 0522 BST.
By 0650 BST the trains were running normally again, said First Great Western.
Officers are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the incident to contact them on 0800 405 040.
