Girl, 16, found dead in Swansea

South Wales Police are investigating the sudden death of a 16-year-old girl after her body was discovered near Swansea city centre.

Officers said they did not believe there were any suspicious circumstances and a file was being prepared for the coroner.

The teenager, who has not been named, was found at the rear of a premises in Mansel Street at 0845 BST on Thursday.

Police said the girl's family had been informed.
