Woman quizzed after man's death

Police have sealed off the property for forensic tests
Detectives have been granted an extra 36 hours to question a 21-year-old woman arrested on suspicion of murder after the death of a man in Ammanford.

Dyfed-Powys Police were called to a house in the Pantyffynon area in the early hours of Tuesday.

A 41-year-old man had sustained fatal injuries. Formal identification is expected to take place later.

A Home Office pathologist has examined the body and the woman is being held at Carmarthen Police Station.

Police said they were not looking for anyone else in connection with the death.

Neighbourhood police team officers are patrolling the area.
