Suspicious death of woman at home
Kay Brooks
Police want to speak to anyone who saw Kay Brooks before she died
The death of a 46-year-old woman at her home in St Thomas in Swansea is being treated as suspicious, say police.

An ambulance was called to the home of Sandra Kay Brooks, known as Kay Brooks, in Robert Owen Gardens at 0905 GMT.

A 45-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the death and a post-mortem examination is being held.

Police said they wanted to piece together what happened to Ms Brooks in the days before her death and have appealed for witnesses to come forward.

Detective Superintendent Paul Kemp, who is leading the inquiry, said: "We are treating Kay's death as suspicious and have set up an incident room to carry out our investigations.

'We would like to piece together what had happened to Kay and therefore would appeal to anyone who might have seen her, spoken to her or visited her in the last seven days between 8 and 15 January to come and speak to us."

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Cockett police station on 01792 456 999 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
