A man and a woman who were arrested after two people were shot with an airgun in Swansea city centre have been released on police bail.

Armed police cordoned off Wind Street for three hours after reports of an airgun being fired at the public.

A 46-year-old man was wounded in the head and a woman, 18, suffered a bruised arm in the incident on Sunday.

Police searched a flat above the street and arrested a 19-year-old man and a 20-year-old woman.

The two people released after questioning are due to answer bail on 24 January.
