An elderly couple found unconscious at their home were poisoned by carbon monoxide, fire service tests have confirmed.
The couple were discovered collapsed at their home in Clydach, near Swansea, at about 0730 GMT on Thursday.
They were given emergency treatment and taken to Morriston Hospital, Swansea, where they were said to be in a stable condition.
Fire crews carried out tests for the gas at their home on Thursday.
The incident came two weeks after another elderly couple died at their home in Pontllanfraith, near Blackwood, south Wales, with their five-year-old great-grandson.
On Tuesday the funeral was held of Patrick and Gloria Chidgey and McCauley Thomas, who police say died of suspected carbon monoxide poisoning.
